LIFE LONG LEARNING NEWS 2011
01/05/2011
I appeared in the magazine Lifelong Learning News June 2011, after I had receive my award for the Rootstein Hopkins Observational Drawing prize.
My immediate feeling was one of overwhelming joy and I’m thankful for all the advice and support I’ve received from Putney School of Art.
Being selected for the prize has inspired me to further my drawing skills as I feel it’s the best way to focus on a subject. It was an honour to be part of the exhibition and surrounded by such
amazing talent. I think it’s great that this prize was open to all age groups, which shows it’s never too late to learn!
