A really magnificent seaside in Southwest France. While painting on the beach a rogue wave rolled in and lifted me off the ground and took my painting and things out to sea. I managed to crawl back to the beach trying to find my brushes and paints. Brushes were lost but next day when the tide was out I went looking for my brushes and found some amongst the rocks. Can recommend the fresh grilled sardines sold by the local seamen on the harbour front walkway. At night the sea and rocks are lit up around the coast and create a magical affect along the coast line.
